Tourists flock to Thailand. In fact Thailand has more visitors than any other country in this area of Asia. Because of Thailands culture and beauty, its ancient ruins, famous food, climate and radical way of life, tourists come from all areas of the world to enjoy themselves. In Bangkok the capital, and largest city in Thailand, people from different cultures with varying pasts live together. Bangkok is a huge city that ships products to all parts of the world. Many international Organizations think that Bangkok is one of the worlds greatest cities. It is also becoming one of the world's more popular tourist destinations. This is because once a tourist has come to Bangkok they can travel to many other parts of Thailand in hours on boats and buses. Bangkok is also a very affordable destination with very low retail prices when compared with a western destination.
Thailand has lots of interesting experiences. Many who are seeing Thailand for the first time are interested in beaches, golf, food, visiting islands, boating, meeting women, Thai sports, cool temples and more. The culture can be one of the highlights of travel in Thailand (and all of Asia). Thailand is very interesting but tends too becomevery hot and somewhat humid. When visiting Thailand it is best to come between November and March (or earlier). It rains less and is not quite as hot. It usually varies however it is normally best temperature wise between November and Febuary, but then Thailand starts warming up again. Tempertures will make the United States appear rather chilly.
Thailand really offers some of the best experiences that I have encountered. It offers some of the nicest beaches and islands that I know of. There are many famous spots for visitors such as Phuket, Koh Samed island, Koh Chang island, Pha-Ngan, and many others. One of the island's I like best is called "Koh Samed". It is located in the East of Thailand in a province named "Rayong".
Thai food offers a huge variety of different foods and tastes. The seasoned Thai cooks interesting mixture of domestic vegetables and spices and mostly fresh ingredients makes eating out nice and cheap.
Thai is the official language of Thailand which is related to languages spoken in eastern Burma, northern Vietnam, and Laos. The written form of Thai language was introduced by King Ramkamhaeng, in 1283. The writing was based on Pali, Sanskrit, Indian, and Khmer words.
